How to find attributes of a device/entity?

Hi,

I am trying to write a little appdaemon-script to dim lights.
However. How can I find out which attributes an entity has?
For example with a dimmable light I can set the light level using the UI. But how to find out which attribute I have to set for dimming? (just as an example)
