How to get data from my weatherstation?

Since a month I moved over from Domoticz to Home Assistant, because of the better web ui and better implementations.

I was already able to change the configuration to get the power production from my windmills from Windcentrale with the rest platform.

But:
I have a weather station which is able to send its data to HA in the same format as it could send the data to Wunderground, by use of the EasyWeather firmware and configuration in WS View. However this data is pushed by the weather station, and what I understand is that I can not use the rest platform (which I already use to get my power production from the Windcentrale). So I was thinking to use a webhook. This looks promissing, because I see in the Core log, that Home Assistant receives the data. But it looks that I only can use a webhook for notifications, not to update its ‘own’ sensors. Do I need to create dummy sensors or something?

I do not want to use a Wunderground account, or other tools to get the data from my weather station. I want to get the data directly from the weather station and make this available in HA. For Domoticz, I created a plugin, but until now I have no idea how to implement this in HA.

Take a look at the recently added trigger based template sensor, there’s even an example for webhook data here.

Aha!!! Thnx!!!

I will test that tomorrow.

Perhaps the documentation of HA is complete, but I have to say, that it is really fragmented and often misses good examples :frowning:
