How to get logs if clean install in crash reboot loop?

I have installed Home Assistant 13.1 on an old x86-64 PC (a Toshiba Dynabook Satellite C55t-A5102 laptop) using the Ubuntu flash drive method. I also ensured that UEFI Boot mode is enabled and Secure Boot is disabled. However, after ensuring ethernet is plugged in and rebooting, HAOS just goes into an infinite loop of crashing and rebooting.

I tried to SSH from another machine on the network, but I cannot access anything. How can I access the logs to help diagnose this, if the system itself will not boot?

This is a 100% clean install that hasn’t worked from the get-go. I tried going into the Ubuntu Live CD to grab the logs off the drive, but I couldn’t find any, so I might just not know where to look.

Edit: I tried installing previous versions of Home Assistant to see if I could get an older version to run. 12.1 runs okay, but 12.2 onward goes into that infinite crash-reboot loop.

It might be a needed BIOS update.
