How to get started with Power Flow Card Plus

Hi all
Im new to HA and I am trying to set up Power Flow Card Plus to replicate the “right now” view I get on my Solarman app.
I have downloaded v0.2.4 through HACS but I cant see how to take it to the next step and configure it.
I have tried to add to Dashboard but the dialogue box say “No view in this dashboard”. I have tried to paste the relevent code from the notes into Terminal but it says “Command Not Found”.
I feel like I am missing a step, but cant figure out what it is .
I have searched but cant see this topic covered before.
Help truly appreciated!
Thanks!

Have you already studied this topic?

“No view” could be that you messed up the code on your dashboard, but the terminal is definitely the wrong place for this.
Normally you should be able to just add the Card with the button on the dashboard. There is even an UI so you dont need code at all. And just to be sure have you cleared the cache?

Yes I have been through this and I still cant see what I am doing wrong!

Hi John, when you say Dashboard do you mean “Overview”, “Energy” or somethign else? Sorry for being basic. I cant see any options for adding a card under either Overview or Energy. I have cleared the browser cache. I feel like Im missing something basic that eveyone else knows but I dont as Im new to HA. Im UI literate but not a coding guy.
I have also looked at all the options in HACS/Intergrations for this addon. I see there are options to add automations, scenes and Scripts but dont see anything I can usefully do there. Do I need to do somethign to create a view, and then press the Add to Dashboard button here?
Thanks so much

SOLVED - Here is what I did. You need to add a Dashboard instead of using the one that comes as standard. The default one does not have an option to add a card. Therefore I went into the settings, started a new Dashboard. I clicked Add Card. Scrolled to the bottom and found Power Flow Card Plus. For some reason the default display was 4 columns, so I changed it to one, to see the complete 3 circles. It was already showing the correct values, albeit for battery it was showing my mobile phone battery. After some tweaking with the UI and now have what I want. Making your own dashboard also allows you to customuse it how you want.
Thanks to those that replied. Although they didnt give the solution they prompted me to google about the lack of Add Card option and that eventually led to the answer!
I hope this helps someone else!

Yeah the default one if filled automatically, which you can disable by clicking on the three dots one the top left, then the dots in the pop up and “take control”.
And while you are at creating your first own energy dashboard take a look at the default cards and the Sankey Chart from HACS.
