How to hide control on group

I see that in a recent release the control: hidden option from groups has been removed.

How can I group items together now but hide the overall control for the group?

Are you still using the states UI?

If they are then they’re on an old version of HA still, since states was dropped.

The answer is to use the show_header_toggle option for that card. See the docs for the individual card, or just use the UI editor.

It makes more sense that they would be talking about an entities card header toggle it’s just the continual “group” wording that makes me suspicious.

I have migrated from an old version of HA, yes.
Is there a guide somewhere on how to update this?

You’re using the new Lovelace UI so you go to the three dots in the top right corner and then Take control. From there you can then edit your user interface to suit yourself, using that three dot menu and the pencil icons to guide you.

This way auto layout is lost though. It would be great to be able to define this in the groups.yaml per group.
