Guess everybody is happy with their lightbulbs and making them to good use
Just wanted leave here a message that for those still interested in the jig, I still make them. Previously I offered them via Etsy, however have created my own little online store. Etsyâs fees are bit high and where I live (Japan), Etsy doesnât offer customer to pay with a credit card.
So, if you - or anybody that you know - would like to have a jig made, please go to: https://www.azuya.studio
As for the firmware, I hope to do another release soon
Quite possible that they are compatible. In most cases where a light bulb was using the Tuya app, it had a ESP8266 inside. However, the only way to find out is to open it up
Quite a number of changes and fixes in this new release of the AiLight firmware. Although the focus has not been on new features, most of the work has been targeting stability and security of the firmware.
I think it might be hard to find these type of light bulbs. Lots of stores are empty. I did a search the other day myself and couldnât find anything. Kind of thinking that there were perhaps only a limited number producedâŚ
If you are close to an IKEA just get the IKEA globes and a hub while your at it, they are cheap enough and perform better than these Tuya based globes and setup is very easy, I quite liked the Wifi globes but it occured to me with a the amount of globes I want to add Iâm going to have to change the way my network is setup to span multiple subnets as I was running out of IP addresses with 1 subnet!!!
Has anyone got any recent links to the ai-thinker bulbs, Iâve got 3 but want more, with them being 9w they are bright and show vivid colours. Just canât seem to find them anywhere
