Hi everyone I’m a beginner in HA。Now I have a problem about vlan and homekit。
This is my topo
now i want to buy a QNAP to install HA on docker,QNAP has 2.5gb direct link to main router。
now my pc vlan(70) cant use homekit or airplay (homepod in vlan60)
how can i solve this problem?
You need to set up reflectors for all the discovery protocols you need on your router.
And if you are going to use Matter, then you need to learn IPv6 and configure reflectors for protocols on that too .
Thank you somuch！ but i just ask my device provider,my router can’t support mdns,can i buy a raspberry or linux server ,run reflectors then link to my router?(router have 3-4 idle interface )
The reflector needs to sit on every network it have to reflect between.
And you need to understand the protocols to set it.
