How to install Z-Wave.Me RaZberry 7 Pro on HA Yellow

Hi guys! I’m having a Yellow and a friend gave me a Z-Wave.Me RaZberry 7 Pro. Can I install that somehow? Anyone who can give some pointers?
Mounted it on the MB but Im not sure how to make the Yellow recognize it.

Hi,
The 10x GPIO headers on a Yellow follow the same pinout as the first 10x pins on a RPi, specifically to allow some devices (like the RaZberry) to connect, at least electrically.
https://yellow.home-assistant.io/hardware/yellow-v1.3-standard/

As the RaZberry 7 Pro only uses 10x pins, it should connect.

There may be a mechanical issue, depending on the shape of the add-on (might foul other components) and the case may not fit over the top.

I used to use an original RaZberry on a RPi4, and the main issues were upgrading the coordinator firmware (can only be done using a uSD card containing Z-Wave.Me which was a bit of a hassle as you need to stop HASS, swap cards, reboot, remember how the GUI works, etc), and mapping the serial port through to HASS and Z-Wave JS.

When upgrading to a Yellow, the RaZberry was replaced with a USB device from Aeotec as it was easier.

I’d try installing the Z-Wave JS Add-On and see if it it recognised, then look at the docs for serial port device names.

The Z-Wave JS docs do list the Z-Wave.Me RaZberry 7 Pro as a supported device:

If this helps, this post!

Worked as a charm. Thank you!

I configured my RaZBerry 7 on a normal Raspberry Pi 3 using ZWay first, so it had latest firmware and was configured for the right country. After that I just installed it directly on the header in the Yellow, as @FloatingBoater suggested, and it worked straight away also.

I know this is an older post, but wanted to jyst say thanks anyway
