I want to install an ESP32-CAM camera into my porch so that it captures an image when a PIR sensor connected to the ESP32-CAM detects motion.
I have tried to use MQTT but HA doesn’t seem to let me do that.
I want to be sent an alert when the PIR triggers. I ideally would like an image of what it was that triggered the PIR. I would like it sent to me rather than stored on an SD card in the ESP32-CAM.
If the only way is to capture and save to the SD is it then possible to get that image remotely?
I am only at the property at weekends so need to see what is happening remotely.
Has anyone else found a solution?

Watch this YouTube video which explain what you need exactly, but without Home Assistant, because he is using Arduino setup only.
P.S. I haven’t tried it yet, but it seems it’s straight forward job.
