How to integrate unsupported Homematic Devices by address?

Hi,

I’ve got an unsupported Homematic Device
interface=“HmIP-RF” device_type=“HmIP-FAL230-C6”

I know that this particular Device is controlled by thermostats. But I need information from the device itself (e.g. state).
Can I somehow integrate the device manually into HASS?
Via the address like e.g. HmIP-RF.00048B38B00CE5:3.STATE.Value()?

You should switch to the new integration. Depending on how large your setup is it might take some effort, but it’s much better than the internal integration.
