How to keep custom Grafana Dashboard open and not reload default dashboard after some inactive time?

Hello, very simple question I guess, but I did not find the solution:

When I have a Grafana dashboard open and changed the time range from default 6 hours to e.g. 1h and have enabled refresh every minute (see screenshot), I want to have Grafana keep this open for the whole day. But now, I guess after 5 or 10 or so minutes, when I worked in other browser tabs, and go back to the Home Assistant Grafana browser tab, Grafana reloads (I could imagine it’s a administrator user session timeout re-login?) and displays the default dashboard with the default time range 6h again.
So, I have lost my customized previous dashboard.
I have the standard default HA Grafana installation, did not configure anything special.
How can I have Grafana keep the custom dashboard open, even when it is not used for hours?

In your user profile (circle icon with initials bottom left) turn this off:

Yeah that’s it, thank’s a lot. I searched in the Grafana admin user preferences, did not think of that would be in the HA user preferences.

Hi Tom, what’s the reason for being able to close the connection to HA?

It was supposed to prevent client side connection errors filling up the logs and prevent unneeded data use.

Maybe it would be a good compromise to have optionally the connection closed after a customizable or fixed timeout, e.g. 12 hours? This way my usability problem is solved, but also you have error log fillup prevention still.

Simple question: How can I make this “Automatically close connection” disabled permanently?

Currently when I logout of HA and then login again, it’s enabled again.

Stop clearing your web browser history on close.

The setting is stored in a cookie or something like that.

Of course I always clear the webbrowser history, cookies etc. on browser shutdown, and will not change that. Seems like no good approach to use cookie for me.
