How to Make Grandstream HT802 Ring via Home Assistant?

Hi everyone,

I’ve successfully integrated my Grandstream HT802 analog phone with Home Assistant via VoIP, and the Assistant functionality is working well. However, I’m trying to figure out how to make the phone ring directly from Home Assistant.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

  • Configured the HT802 with VoIP settings.
  • Integrated the device with Home Assistant.

I’m now looking for a way to send a signal or trigger that makes the phone ring.

Has anyone done something similar or have any tips on how to achieve this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I haven’t worked with it, but I suspect you can via netham45/ha-sip: Home-Assistant SIP Gateway (github.com)
