How to make HA recognize ESPhome devices from and old HA account

Hey,

I had around 30 basic sonoff devices (lights) integrated to HA using ESPhome, unfortunately I’m an idiot and forgot my HA password and after a while my microsd card stop working on my Raspberry Pi.

Now I put together another Raspberry Pi with HA, but I cant figure out how to make HA recognise my sonoff devices.

I appreciate any help.

Well if you didn’t have any backup of esphome sketch you’ll have to rewrite them from scratch/from memory !
For connection with HA if they had the API option in it and no api password or still have it you just have to add them back as integration (your HA should have already showed a notice that he discovered some ESPHome devices on network !).

You just add them in the same way as before, go to configuration, devices, press the + button and choose esphome.
