For several weeks now, I've had a Tesla Powerwall 3 installed. I'm now looking to get the power input and output data for the battery with a fairly high refresh rate (10 seconds or less) and without cloud.
Is this possible for free? If so, how?
I have the Tesla Custom Integration, which allows me to get my battery data, but the refresh rate is far too slow, and I need a fast update for my automations, especially for charging my car with surplus solar power.
Are you sure any of the existing apps cannot be pressed into use?
Is granularity of 10 seconds data update going to mean much when your time window to fully charge is measured in hours? You may be collecting too much data for no real benefit, and overloading the controller.
What interests me isn't necessarily the energy recovered or returned. I can clearly be satisfied with one piece of information per minute for that; however, instantaneous power, that's what I really need.
