How to pause my Xiaomi Vacuum Robot?

Hi, in the documentation they list pause as an available feature, but all I can find is vacuum.stop, vacuum.toggle and vacuum.start_pause.

Is start_pause a way to say “pause” or what? What’s the correct way to pause it so that I can later resume it?

start_pause toggles between pause and start. But this often screws with my vacuum - it sometimes does not resume the cleaning but rather starts a new cleaning process and deletes the old map of the vacuum. Pushing the buttons on the vacuum though is fine…

Yeah I imagined, I wonder how to simply pause it then :-/
