I realized that despite deleting some pictures from /config/www/… with the configurator addon or via ssh, they seem to already be there and accessible. For example I can open them via https://your-domain/local/images/deleted_picture.jpg, or at any Lovelace image card.

Are you sure they’re not just cached in your browser? Do the files actually still exist when accessed via ssh or configurator?
I did clean the browser cache and I also logged in with another computer but still the same.
On the configurator or via SSH they seem to not exist, the don’t appear, I just can acces them because I remember where they were (www/images/) and what names they had.
Can you access them from an incognito or private tab?
That’s weird, actually I can’t.
Ok my fault, I did delete the browser cache but it seems not to be enough, I can’t acces them no more by deleting the whole browser data (including on synced devices). Thank you anyway.
I often forget to try incognito mode myself…you’d think this wouldn’t be a problem for me.
