How do I turn off (shut down) the HA Yellow properly?
What I did was to execute the Stop command and my client did report Lost Connection, but the yellow LED on my Yellow never stopped blinking (which according to the doc means that HA is still running). So, after about an hour I pulled the plug. Next time I restarted my Yellow, HA reported that the database was corrupt because HA hadn’t been shut down properly.
So how do I shut it down properly???

I never knew there was a difference between Stop and Shutdown. And I’m totally unable to locate the explanation anywhere in the Docs.
I’ve been using Stop for my Core container version of HA for many years without any issues. Then i bought a Yellow an suddenly all hell broke loose when i used Stop.
