How to properly uninstall Node Red?

Hello everyone,
I thought that all add-ons would clean up after themselves when uninstalling, but it seems that Node Red does not do so. I uninstalled it and it seems that (at least some of) the data is not properly removed. I e.g. still have the node-red folder in config. I would like to cleanly uninstall it.
Is there a script for this or is the node-red subfolder the only left-over I need to remove?

Thank you
Alex

Did you ever found a solution for that? It looks like I have the same problem: I delete the integration and from HACS, but it is still in the sidebar and I can launch it from there.

You need to delete the addon. The files it “leaves” behind is all your personal settings and flows for nodered. It does not delete this information, you must do it manually. This is true for most addons.

@AleXSR7001 For me the easiest way was to install the “Samba Share” add-on so that I can access my HASS files easily.
Then if you want to clean install or completely remove Node-Red then I

  • zip up the a0d7b954_nodered directory (so you have a backup including your flows)
    then delete the a0d7b954_nodered directory
    restart HASS
