I’ve seen quite a few threads here regarding reloading packages without having to restart HA. Many of them have statements that reloading now works but nothing regarding how to reload the packages. I’ve look at the various buttons in Server Controls but I don’t see anything there regarding packages. How can I reload the yaml files in my packages directory?

You don’t reload the package, you reload the parts of the package that you change (automation etc).
The discussions you are finding are from back when reloads didn’t work for things in packages, which was quite some time ago. Try to ignore anything you find that’s over 6 months old and rely more on the up-to-date documentation. 6 months is ancient history here.

So if I add a new package I might as well just restart the server but if I’m trying to tweak an automation in a package just reload automations?
