This will be my second go at getting Google Nest to work. I managed it once about a month ago, then it stopped working, and I haven’t been able to get it going again. At the moment I’m stuck on linking the Device Access Project to my Google Account. The web-screen that pops up simply says “Can’t link [device access project] to [Google account] please try later.”
Home Assistant reports ‘already_in_progress’ when I try and set it up again, so I want to wipe it all and start again. It’s not immedaitely obvious to me how to wipe this integration. Any help appreciated.
I should add, I have tried the ‘delete’ option from the 3-dot menu within the integration, but this does nothing
Following as I came to write almost the exact same post… I had the Google Assistant integration going and it has just stopped - very frustrating and Im not sure how to debug it
Okay, some progress. I’m not sure how but the Nest integration is now gone after a couple of re-boots.
I’ve gone through the initial set-up again and got all of the info ready, added the integration back into HA, and the pop-up box reported integration successfully installed.
After a few minutes of ‘initialising…’ the integration came back with this:
which I now cannot get past. I’ve carried out a couple of further re-starts.
I’m confident the information is correct, the client ID, secret, project ID and Device Access Project ID.
