I was trying to search, also discuss with Gemini but till now I was not able to find a solution for my use case.
What I need: restore map to original state
Description of my problem:
I have Xiaomi S20+ (xiaomi.vacuum.b108gl). I have also Android app Xiaomi home and I have home assistant with hass-xiaomi-miot and Xiaomi Cloud Map Extractor
All works basically OK, but I am looking for a option how to restore the map.
When I map my apartment I have nice map of all my rooms. To have nice map I cover mirror on my wardrobe and also stairs. But once vacuum robot starts working (vacuuming, mopping) “fake rooms” appear on map (representing mirror, downstairs, open rolling door for wardrobes in different rooms. AFAIK Xiaomi app does not support map restore, but I was hoping I would be able to achieve this with integrations in Home Assistant.
My idea was to scan the apartment (could be several times to have multiple “correct” maps of my apartment) and then save it as a base and then restore original map when I need it, or by automation each time vacuum is docked.
Till now I was not able to find a solution, so trying to some someone here who has maybe successfully implemented something
