How to save/export data to Excel format?

Hi everyone, i need to save datas from HomeAssistant to create a sort of log where i have readings from selected sensor every x minutes in a format compatible with Excel (.csv, .xls, .xlsx or so).
I managed to do that with the Google Sheets integration, but i’d like to have a backup option that does not require internet acces (as HomeAssistant works in a network with a 4G router so it could drop sometimes) and so i’d need to save datas to a file in HomeAssistant or, if that’s not possible, to export existing datas from Home Assistant history into excel, selecting a period of time and frequency… do you know any solution that could work?

You can use the history-explorer-card in the frontend and here is a solution with a file notification.

Is there some default way to do this? Out of the box in the application?
