How to save files from the esphome microphone when using assist?

As the title suggests, I would like to be able to listen to speech-to-text files while using assist with the esphome i2c microphone. The reason for this is that I want to edit the microphone’s configuration and choose the best options, such as volume gain, noise suppression, etc.

So you want to be able to play back your own TTS commands after they pasd through the microphone?

Yeah, i believe when i say something, the file is stored somewhere for it to be sent(in my case to google stt), so i just want to find that file and listen to it.

Still looking for an answer.

You’ve been waiting around for 3 months and havnt found the answer? What have you been doing thats proactive inorder to find an answer yourself? I saw that you revived this thread and thought, “what the heck, lets see what pops up from a search”

In less than 5 minutes I found a post from someone else 9 months ago that had the same question, figured it out and posted the solution.

People are only here for help and its voluntary. No one cares if your still waiting for an answer or not because, at the end of the day its your problem and no one else’s.

You should be trying to answer any questions you may have by doing your own archive, documentation, Google searches and if you just cant find an answer on your own, then your last option should be asking for help, not your first option.

This information was easy to find 3 months ago when you started this thread and right now while, “your still waiting” it was easy to find by doing a Google search and spending 5min scrolling and reading.

Why not send the link of the post You found in 5 minutes?

Would be much nicer than blaming people. Thanks
