How to seamlessly change HA domain for ESPhome?

I have HA running and accessible from two domains:

  1. https://ha.lan.mydomain.com:8443
  2. https://ha.mydomain.com:8443

and I’d like to start using NginxProxyManager to reverse-proxy HA for the the more normal 443 port and auto SSL renewal.

Would this change affect the ESPhome devices running in my home? My gut feeling is no but just want to ger confirmation from experts or someone who’s done it before.

No, it’s actually HA that connects to each ESPHome device.
