I’ve just created a new view using the Sections option in HA 2024.3, but I can’t work out how to make it the default view when I open the Dashboard - my previous default view is always opened first.
How do you change the default view?
That’s for setting the default dashboard - what I’m trying to do is set the default view/tab within the default dashboard (on a desktop browser, as well as mobile devices).
(I have 6 views/tabs in my default dashboard)

Make your tab the first one in your dashboard and set that dashboard to default, as stated above.
I’ve ended up creating a new dashboard (on the left) and copied my top tab into it. Then made that the default. If that makes sense, it seems to work so far…
I think I have a fix for this. When you create a new view, you can set the URL for it in the Pencil Settings. I re-named my old view to /whatever, then went to the view I wanted to make default and renamed the url /home.
For now, it’s working.
