How to setup motion trigger with onvif camera

Hi

i have ESCAM onvif camera, i setup the motion detection and if the camera detects motion
it takes photos and videos and upload it to FTP.

  1. How i can setup motion trigger with HA, if motion detected on the camera
    i will have the ability to add action in HA…

  2. What is the best way to save the video files secured and immediately

The only Idea that grown in my mind is to watch any directory modification that will issue a trigger to HA. But perhaps is a developer matter that I don’t have an answer yet.

I would like to get an answer to the same topic. I have a Reolink camera and the streaming works fine but I would like to access the motion detection. FTP uploads works but I would need some kind of event within HA.
I have seen a service within HA:

camera.enable_motion_detection

but it fails executing.
I am wondering if anyone has experience with that?

My cameras have the option to send the records to an FTP server or inform via email. So there might be an option that HA keep watching one or both of these events.
I didn’t set yet a FTP server, but it might be a little time to deal with. Currently I’m not free for HA matters.
