How to start IP Webcam Pro server

Hi.
I am able to start IP Webcam Pro on my android with the following automation action:

service: notify.mobile_app_<your_device_name>
data:
  message: command_launch_app
  data:
    package_name: com.pas.webcam.pro

It starts fine.

Does anybody know how to start this application in the recording mode (start server pressed)?

Did you ever find a way to start the server when starting the app?

Unfortunately no. I am using widget to start app with recording started.

Thanks for replying @bartek_75. What kind of widget are you using? If I can’t start the IP Webcam when everyone is away with HA, I would like to find an alternative way to start it so would be very interested to know what you are using.

I use Pro version which has widget to start with recording on.
Basically it is running all the time. I set recording only when motion detection is triggered. And from HA i can enable disable motion detection.
I also use automate on the phone to restart webcam in case android kills it

Thanks again @bartek_75 for the info. I’m already using the Automate app but I don’t have the Pro version of IP Webcam. I’ll have to look into that.
