Hi, I’m looking for a way to stop the running screensaver on my android tablet on an event. Especially, when one of my IP Cams detect motion and upload the alarm jpg . I’ve been searching a while and found the wake option in WallPanel, but I’d like to use it from HA App or any browser.
Anyone a good way to make this happen?

Do you mean light up the screen or go past the unlock?
Light up is easy, the other part is harder.
I made an attempt some time ago but gave up for some reason, so probably it was too har or I couldn’t figure out how.
Its not thru HA but if you installed Tasker ($4 on app store) and the camera(s) app(s) so your tablet will get notifications, Tasker can wake screen in response to camera app’s notifications.
It’s just to light up the screen. I’ve 3 tablets around my house so it would be nice to trigger that from HA.

In that case browser mod makes a device a media_player which can be turned on.
