How to update ntfs drive to ntfs-3g for large NTFS Drive support in ROOT and mount the Drive

Hi All,
For past several days I have tied in so many ways with CONFIG USBDrive but couldn’t install/find a proper NTFS-3G driver/package for Home Assistant OS running on Intel NUC.

I have root access to OS but as soon I try to mount my NTFS 10TB USB HDD, command reuturns error: unknown filesystem type ‘ntfs’.

I have tried my best but it seems I know little about Home Assistant OS. I couldn’t find a way to install ntfs-3g. It seems ha os does not have a install/apk/apt-get command?

I have tried with CONFIG drive too but couldn’t find a proper CONFIG ntfs-3g package for Intel NUC. The packages that are available seems for PI.

I am also ok to reinstall Home Assistant OS that will support large ntfs drive but I couldn’t find that either.

Any help from you would mean a lot.

It doesn’t indeed. HAOS is “take it or leave it”.

If you want to tinker with what the OS provides, wants addon, and know a bit of Linux (as it seems you do), a “Supervised” install is what you’re looking for.
