Hello, I am extremely new to Home Assistant. Only a few weeks. I heard that the version 08.2023 is released. I don’t find where I can update.
I use Home Assistant with its own OS on a Raspberry Pi 4.
Sorry if I am just an idiot.

Look under settings in the UI
Did you mean under Updates? There is only the message, if I press on search for updates, that the search for updates is not possible. In the „About“ Section there is also nothing.
When the updates are ready they show up in the top of the list of options under settings, at least they do in HAOS. If you have installed in any other way I am not sure how they show up. You’re HA is attached to the internet?
Never had any issues with updates myself. You could try restarting as that often helps with silly issues.
I restarted right now. There is no message there.
Yea, it is connected to the internet and this works.
I installed it with the raspi-tool with the official image there provided and made nothing special.
Should the update already be available for all or are there maybe waves of the release?
For me updates are available soon after they are released, so 1st Wednesday of the month, evening time in the UK I think. Never had to force one to show up. Not sure why you have trouble, maybe someone else can offer more help.
Sometimes updates can take up to a day to show up; it depends on which part of the world you are and what infrastructure between you and GitHub. I have instances working all over the world and updates can sometimes take up to a day to show up; eventually they show up, patience required!
Oh, thank you. Then I hope the best.
