How To: Updating Aqara FP300 Zigbee Firmware

Don't know what to say. Mine updated just fine after an hour yesterday.

New firmware didn't fix any of my old issues though. Still getting false triggers on the PIR every few minutes overnight, and setting sensitivity to low causes the mmwave to report false absence.

Will run the AI learning when I'm not in the room, but will probably try to downgrade back to the original 5234 firmware.

I've had some improvement since my last comment, but after a seemingly successful update, the Firmware ID stays 0.0.0_5842. The version says 16682 App: 0.0 build 0 Stack: 4.1 build 42 (which seems newer than 14890 App: 0.0 build 0 | Stack: 3.a build 42)

Expected Firmware ID: 0.0.0_6542
Firmware version: 16682 App: 0.0 build 0 | Stack: 4.1 build 42

Strangely enough, mine aren’t even reporting firmware information. No Firmware ID (only date), no Firmware version, no Available firmware version. All give N/A. Can’t for the life of me get anything to show up.

But then again, they also don’t report battery percentage… and they’ve been working very poorly for me to begin with. I know there’s been an update coming in z2m for the battery percentage but otherwise I don’t know.

Edit: About the waking the device up and the light blinking: mine don’t blink either when I push the button. Only when it goes into factory reset will the light start blinking.

You can monitor FP300 Zigbee/Matter firmware releases here:

How long have you had it? Usually battery takes up to 24h to report. Firmware version/update check too.

Check that Led disabled night is set to False (off)

I’ve had them for over a week now. On latest firmware (since the Aqara app installs that when switching to zigbee), no battery percentage, no firmware information.

And yeah, the LED disabled night setting is set to false.

I have 3 FP300’s and they’re all doing the same.
