I have a very nicely working setup of GivTCP V2.4.9. I note there is a new version V3 now.
I have a Gen 1 GivEnergy inverter.
The question is, should I upgrade to GivTCP?
Having said that, the second question is: I read somewhere some time ago that to do the upgrade you have to add a new repository to HA Add-Ons to do the upgrade. I tried that but it doesn’t seem to “stick”. After entering the URL (GitHub - britkat1980/ha-addons) it just disappears.
I have worn Google out trying to find some instructions on the upgrade process but can’t find anything useful.
Can anyone help please? I just need a pointer to some documentation of “how-to”.
