How to use Infrared Control?

Hi

I have some Remotsy boards (IR emitter/receiver wired at an ESP) that I’d like to control my Samsung TV. I’m just very confused by the documentation for IR commands as codes I found are not at all similar with options offered by Esphomelib :confused: This website gives the codes as Protocol Information, Pronto Hex and UEI Hex, but none of them looks compatible with formats supported by ESPHomelib no ?
I can also get these codes in RC5 format but same problem !

Yep but I can’t do that as I have already codes I want to use and these are discrete codes so you can’t capture them :wink: and none format listed there looks similar to what I found on http://irdb.tk :frowning:
It lists too that you can send a Samsung Ir codes but where do I find list of data bytes compatible and what they are doing ??

Can you paste or link the codes that you have available? The IR codes for Samsung TVs shouldn’t differ as far as I can tell.
