This is my first post, please excuse me for any indiscretions.
I recently bought 5 Sonoff Dongle Lite MG21 to use as Thread Repeaters (after researching online). I have 12 presence sensors that are Matter over Thread based and I don’t have any other thread devices so I’m unable to extend my mesh network to reach all these sensors. I will have other Matter over WIFI devices but I’m not sure if these will be able to relay the messages from the sensors back to HA.
After following the process given by Google AI 
it works as a Thread router successfully but when I revert to the original thread coordinator (ZBT-2) and plug the dongle to separate USB power plug, the thread topology check does not show the dongle at all.
I’m thinking it doesn’t retain the information when it is unplugged.
Anyone else tried this with success, I’d greatly appreciate your advise.
Please help.
