I have System Monitor set up and I can’t figure out how to get hourly or daily bandwidth usage (total MB in and out).
Seems like it’s cummulative monthly.
What am I missing?

I had not used those specific sensors before but i just added them & i can too see they are cumulative. This must be because of the “state_class: total_increasing” attribute for the sensor that gets created. No idea though if that can be changed.
Have you looked at Glances as an alternative for this kind of data?

Stick them in a utility meter that refreshes daily/hourly or whatever you need 
I just took a look at Glances and would prefer not to add another integration and go through the learning curve.
I’ve seen images of dashboards with throughput by min/hour/day/etc. – I just can’t figure out how they’re doing it.
Don’t know how to do this.
