How to "use" the image entity?

I’ve a doorbell camera that updates a sensor (image.doorbell_last_motion) with the last motion detected image.

I’d like to archive all those images in a HA local folder, let’s say /media/local/snapshots/

I’m wondering if HA history is already archiving them somewhere … but I can only see the date+time and the last image of each update but not the previous pictures.

I searched in the forums, but I just found complex automations to grab camera pictures from video stream, etc.

Any suggestion?

i didn’t think all the images are actually archived. i think you need to do this yourself.
