Maybe this is a dumb question, but for now i did not found a solution for that.
Steps.
1 Download RPI Image writer, here i used the 64 bit for linux
2 Use an hassio image and plug the ssd into an usb adapter
3 Write the image and be happy with the usability
Problem: Assume the install dies off and you have a proper .tar backup
Steps:
1 Plug the ssd into your usb adapter again
2 Select image, try to select card / device
Bang, the ssd does not exist anymore. Linux Partition manager as also GParted says “no media on the device”
How to get the partition back for further processing?
