HTTP sensor persistence

Hi

I have a HTTP sensor set up which I trigger from tasker on android (it sends current charging state)

The only problem is that when restarting home assistant it loses the last values sent in the UI (it doesn’t even show the sensor at all) until a new state is sent.

Anyway to get it to reload the last state on load of hass?

I’m also after this.

Because when HASS starts, and the HTTP Sensors don’t exist yet, they also don’t appear in Homekit. and I can’t find a way to refresh homekit to pick up these sensors at a later stage… It would be great if there is a way to ‘lightly’ configure them, and the rest could come down the pipe on the first update.

You can set an automation, when HA starts to re-send all http sensors
