I’m trying to setup https but all of the examples I see use duck dns. Some use lets encrypt, and some use other proxy plugins. I’m already using dyndns for all of my remote services and I already have remote access setup. I really don’t want to switch my dns to duck dns. So what exactly do I need to do to configure https WITHOUT using duck dns?
Just make sure you get an ssl certificate and put it in /ssl
Do I still need let’s encrypt?
You don’t need to use Let’s Encrypt or DuckDNS if you already have your own solutions for an SSL cert and dynamic DNS, respectively.
Ok thanks. I do have a dynamic dns set up already. So I just need to find a solution to the SSL cert.
