Huawei solar integration

Hello,

I have a Huawei SUN2000-5KTL-L1 inverter configured in Home Assistant using modbusTCP as you can see in the image below.

After I update the Huawei Solar to version 1.5.6 from hacs now i can’t monitor the inverter and i don’t have values.

If I go to devices, says to reload. Once I reload i have this error.

Looking in logs of home assistant i see this:

Please, someone can help me or know what it is happening?

I have same issue since 1.5.6 update.

In my case is not Modbus, it is network but the error log is the same.

No entities available.

Rolled back to 1.5.5 and it’s working again.

When it broke, did you also upgrade to 2025.8 for HA or did you only upgrade the Huawei Solar integration?

In my case HA was 2025.7.4.

Ah! I might be mistaken but, based on the release notes, this patch was launched to fix a problem introduced in 2025.8 so its fair to assume it can break for people still in 2025.7.
I’ll update both next week and report back.

I can confirm that HA 2025.8.2 plus Huawei 1.5.6 is working.

Thanks

Same issue here

Solved by upgrading Home Assistant to 2025.8.2

Hi can you please tell me how you connect to the emma, using the fusionsolar application and connecting to the wifi of the emma ?

Tell us exactly what you want to do, what you tried, and what is not working.

For connecting from the HAss integration, the steps are in the documentation . For enabling Modbus over TCP support on the EMMA, I posted some steps here .

I’m using this integration with EMMA, but I can’t see entities for grid consumption phase A, B and C. There is some entitie that I’m missing?

Hi, I got a notification for a new update today, ver 2.0.1.

Do I loose any configured entities, will they be recreated with a new Id or name ?
Or may I just update and everything will continue running ?

My config is using Modbus TCP, and HA is communicating the an EMMA A02.

Kind regards
