I want to have my Philips Hue Tap dial integrated into my existing Schneider Exxact wall switch frames.
Has anyone found a 3D print or a product that allows a seamless replacement?
Here in Sweden, Scneider Exxact switches are pretty common, so I would imagine that someone did a DYI project already that might want to share the files.
Issues fitting:
I understand that the inner socket dimensions on the on the Schneider Exxact is 56mm while the Tap dial is 60mm, but I am hoping to see what clever solutions people have come up with, if any.
This is an example of the current frames we have in our house (Schneider Exxact series):
And the Philips Tap Dial (that you probably know already):
Unfortunately, no solution.
I did get a 3D printer in the meantime, so I am playing with the idea of designing something myself. I just need to get my 3D design skills up and running
I was having pretty much the same question and ended up using this
Works well if you are able remove the screws holding the light switch. I ended up replacing the light switch wires with longer ones, which was an no issue since they were standard M3 screws.
I’m from Finland, so we probably have same light switch mounting as on Sweden.
