Huge latency when switching to HassIO

Greetings,

Recently I decided to switch from Rassbian to HassIO and pretty much everything seems to be much much slower. It’s still run on the exact same RaspPi with the exact same components/switches/automations. Before it took 1-4 seconds to load a page inside lovelace, now it takes everything from 45 seconds to 3 minutes which is basically unusable, all automations have the same delay. I switched my “record” to purge data every 48 hours. So my question is if this is common when it comes to HassIO or if something is wrong with my installation?

I decided to switch to HassIO due to all great and helpful youtubers recommending it as an easier alternative. If I can’t get it to work I’ll just switch back, but I like the whole idea with HassIO when it comes to the addons and such so all possible help would be great.

EDIT: Some addons and components I use that may be of interest is DuckDns, Telldus, Aircast. It may also be of interest to know that I can’t restart the Pi remotely from the “Configuration” menu, it simply does nothing at all. No error message or such. I need to restart if from the HassIO system menu and the restart takes up to 15 minutes… Also some addon installations simply doesn’t work at all, I click install and it instantly fails. May there be some problem with my SD card?

Kind regards,
Proxid

Yeah that is not normal. I’m running a fairly large hassIO config on a pi 3b with more than a few addons, and dont see anywhere that sort of latency.

I’m going to bet he’s not using a Pi3B

Sorry for a super late answer, but no I am on a PI3B+ actually, and it been going good for about 6-8 months with no problems at all. But as soon as I switched to HassIO the problems started at day 1. Now I’m back to Hassbian and its way smoother again. I guess I had some corrupted HassIO image or something…
