Humidity based switch wardrobe

Hi,

I am new here and I hope my message is posted in the right place.

Basically, I have a built-in wardrobe in the master bedroom which is mounted on a external wall without insulation. This has led to some issue with damp/mould during winter time as all the condensation get trapped into there.

What I’m looking to do is put a wardrobe heater similar to this one and I was looking to get it on or off depending on a humidity sensor. For this setup I’m looking to have a raspberry pi hooked on a DHT22 - this looks very well documented in here so no problem here. What I’m not sure however and that’s where I’d need your help is what kind of hardware would you recommend to have to switch the heater on/off? Obviously, this would be automated via Home Assistant.

Many thanks for your help in advance!

I would recommend a relay with sufficient power rating to handle the heater.
Something like this: RELAY

A Sonoff would do the trick  I believe you can add a dht22/11 to it as well, so you could do it all in one device.
