Husband's problem: Simple interface or 3rd party app?

Hi! I’m pretty new to HA.

My wife has been used to ewelink interface and find HA Loveace confusing and hard to use (maybe she just don’t like the interface).
She is not approving my use of HA and wish to continue using ewelink.

I need to use HA as I am linking up more zigbee devices which ewelink doesn’t support.

So I have a question. Do we have any 3rd party app to control HA switches or any super easy nice interfaces I can convince my wife? (if you have a screenshot it will be the best!)

Below is the ewelink app

You’ve got a few options.

One of the simplest with iOS is to use HomeKit, for Android use the Companion App with Device Controls.

You can also expose devices to Google Assistant and use the Google Home app.

Some would argue that you have failed at home AUTOMATION because the occupants still need to operate switches.

Apple Homekit works well in our house, and has passed the WAF test. We both do everything through our Apple Watches using Siri, and never even open the Home app on our phones…

I don’t see anything in the design of Ewelink, that is not possible to copy in HA. With use of some custom cards you could get it even exactly the same. Just need to study the possibilities for a while

I pipe everything to HomeKit for this exact reason. The iOS Home App is a native interface that my wife can easily use and navigate on her own. And if for some reason it breaks, she knows she just needs to get up and flick a switch. I’d suggest finding a way to pipe your Home Assistant devices to either Apple HomeKit, Google Home, or some other such native interface.
