I’m probably not smart enough to understand how this is supposed to work (correct aberrant data), or if it’s just plain broken.
Observations:
Using the date picker (when it works) it always sends the day before the date I pick to the first windows (see pic below).
When I can get the records to appear, the aberrant record(s) are not present for the time frame in energy (see pic below). I can pick all the hours of the time period and still no aberrant records.
I’ve come across these problems as well.
You may want to consider writing up an issue on this on HA’s GitHub.
Regarding the Date Picker, What I find that works, is the date picker actually picks the correct date (April 30). You have to ignore the “Pick a time” which for some reason shows the day before (April 29). The entries in the list show the dates picked by Date Picker (April 30), I find that they are correct. So in your case, use the Date Picker to select April 29 as that is the date you show having an aberrant bar.
I should add that once the aberrant entry is corrected, I find that the aberrant bar is still there PLUS it adds an nearly equal but negative bar before it, so you end up with two aberrant bars. I have posted an issue on this, but so far it has not gotten any attention.
Thanks for that information. Following your observations, I picked the 29th (of course the main windows shows the 28th) I cycled through all the time in 1 hour blocks and the aberrant record still can’t be found.
Well at least I’m not going crazy, and this feature seems to be broken.
If you picked April 29, do all the individual entries shown in the “Adjust a statistics” also show April 29 (“Pick a time” will show the incorrect date of April 28)?
Assuming it does, you will see entries on 5 minute intervals, but you won’t see them all for that hour. You’ll have to change the “tens” of minutes to pick up the next set of ten minutes, etc. i.e. 5:10:00, 5:20:00, etc. so its possible the aberrant entry is in one of those 10 minute ranges somewhere.
