I finally got around to screenshotting and documenting my lovelace config in github

I’ve been meaning to provide a decent readme for a year and I’ve finally gotten around to it. I’ve tried to make it very newbie friendly so that you can find all the pieces I used to make it as well as easily access the code used for it.

Take a look here for the full description

Here are some screenshots to get you started. Next up I’m going to try to document all my automations. I’ve got a few done already. Hope it’s useful to some of you.

Beautiful stuff. How do you manage to get a screenshot of a screen so tall? No matter what software I use, I can only get one visible screenful at a time. Typically I use Opera’s “Save Page as PDF” command to get a full screenshot of large (i.e. very tall) screens, but it doesn’t work with HA.

Since the button with his name is positioned somewhere in the middle I believe it’s multiple screenshots merged in to one.

Ah, well there it is. I can already do that. I was hoping for something easier. It would be nice if there were an easy way to get full-screen shots like that.

Thanks for the response, @Hellis81

MS Edge can do it.

It’s the Firefox addon called “Easy Screenshot”. Doesn’t work with all web pages but it works with lovelace.

@scstraus: Easy Screenshot not working for me (macOS 10.13.6 & latest FF). All 3 options don’t let me go beyond the visible portion of the screen. I might give MS Edge for Mac a try over the next couple days.
