I got a smart light, how can i configure it into HASS? There is no component

I got 1 of these lights - https://www.amazon.in/Wipro-Garnet-Compatible-Amazon-Assistant/dp/B07HHCJB4H/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=wipro&qid=1558039111&s=gateway&sr=8-1

I wanted to configure it with HASS, so that i can control it via it along with Motion Detections, any way to do it?

Does it work with tuya?

What’s Tuya?

Google is your friend.

Tuya is an app for smart home control. It is often used by other manufacturers under licence, and renamed. Those manufacturers devices will usually work with the tuya app and then they work with home assistant via this component https://www.home-assistant.io/components/tuya/

Worth a try.

I will try, any other?

Any other what?

Any other component?

If the Tuya component doesn’t work, there aren’t many other options if there’s no component for it, other than reverse engineering their protocol and making your own component for it.

With that said, I’d bet money that there’s an ESP8266 inside, so you can try the Tuya OTA flasher to re-flash with tasmota or something, or crack it open and reflash the old fashioned way.

That depends a little on what other chips are in there. But yes there is stuff like tasmota, ailight and other software that might work.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=wipro.com looks like tuya.

so download the tuya app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tuya.smart) to your smart phone, and see if you can connect to the bulb.

Has anyone found any integration or way for Wipro devices to work with home assistant?

did you find any wipro integration for HA
please guide
thanks

Please learn to quote entire sentences.

I did not look for a wipro integration. I simply asked if the wipro devices use tuya, because that would be a way of incorporating them in HA.

When tuya was suggested by me and by @walaj there were no further replies from the thread. This behaviour gets kinda demoralising.

Question: will X work

Answer: Does it work if you use integration Y

Response: NOTHING, which kinda makes the person who suggested the answer wondering why they bothered.
