I have a problem with the samba plugin

I installed Samba. Homeasistent files don’t want to appear on any network, what could they be? They have a tutorial to set it up. I have seen several videos, but none of them makes the files appear on my network to configure them.
:pensive::pensive::pensive::pensive::pensive:samba

Great screenshot of the addon. Congratulations!
If you want help, you might want to show your config for the addon and how you are trying to use it… It works perfectly well so it’s your config.

I set up my computer to recognize shared files. But there are no signs of life of the HASSIO folder

As seen in the example shown in the video tutorials

interpret_interface: Can’t find address for wlan0
WARNING: no network interfaces found

Seriously?
If you are not going to READ and provide what I ask for I’m out. This post is as useful as your first one.

Post your config at the bottom, before the logs

conf

I have it configured in virtual box I emulate it with my computer in wifi

Did you try \192.168.0.10 (replace 192.168.0.10 with the ip of your HA instance) ?

Did you see this part of the installation?

Option: interface (required)

The network interface Samba should listen on for incoming connections.
This option should only be used in advanced cases. In general, setting this
option is not needed.

I’m not sure why it’s required but then still have the last line.
It is required as far as I know.

Is your workgroup correct? Everything else looks fine, including ‘interface’.

Also check, y’know, windows firewall and your router. IMHO ditch samba and stick to ssh, but I digress.

Oof, that just adds a whole level of complexity if you want to run a remote version of visual studio code.

I concur with this suggestion. it is 2 backslashes, not 1 at the front. The forum strips this out…

\\192.168.0.10

See if that works in Windows Explorer
