I have this ESP Plug with Tasmota

I bought a very simple plug that could be flashed with Tasmota because it comes with an ESP board, but now I was thinking if it could be possible to be flashed into ESPHome from Tasmota.

I cannot find any docs in the ESPHome regarding this plug, but I’ve seen a ton of places where I can clearly see this plug in ESPHome (it’s kind of a white label plug with 100000 brands behind).

Any ideas?

I saw this guy

Using a YAML template with the ESP Home addon and generating a firmware to be flashed through Tasmota firmware upgrade page. Maybe I should be looking for a plug template for something similar.

Often the answer is “its Tuya”.

But you may have a match here?

As to whether it still has a ESPHome compatible chip and can be tuya-converted…well that’s getting less likely…

After opening it, I found it’s a BEKEN chip, so I have flashed an OpenBK firmware.

Now I’m trying to understand the GPIO to make it fully work (now it works only as a relay with default conf)

Bright side, is that it’s not cloud anymore
