2020-09-10 22:31:09 WARNING (MainThread) [homeassistant.loader] You are using a custom integration for afvalwijzer which has not been tested by Home Assistant. This component might cause stability problems, be sure to disable it if you experience issues with Home Assistant.
There’s your problem. There have been many reports of problems with that integration today.
I have that too but no issues so far…
Delete asap you will run into problems.
I have spend the all afternoon looking for the problem when nothing worked
PS, it looks like the dev released 4.3.2 of that custom component to fix that bug:
Remove system exit from Python code. Bugfix to prevent HASS locking up.
Need a proper solution for catching errors and retrying in a future release.
Got the same issue here suddenly. No changes, no updates did nothing, suddenly everything stopped working. Same issue as above, the “afvalwijzer” HACS integration. After updating the 3 files with the ones on the latest github from them, it worked again Thanks guys for pointing this direction.
you mean your actually got afvalwijzer data back, or only the HA system back up and running… Afvalwijzer is still not sending data here, and xirixiz is writing proper error handling as we speak
I have this very strange problem… I have the message for xirixiz but do not seem to use it!?
You use it, even your screenshot show it.
No it’s not
Maybe it is, but was referring to your other screenshot.
I’ve my system up and running again which was completely broken. No data from the afvalwijzer yet, maybe I’ll fall back on just my calendar which has the dates as well.
I use only this one…
So it is strange I have that error message for
Had the exact same issue! No coherent error reports or whatsoever, just the message that homeassistant was still loading. Even rolling back a backup didn’t solve the issues. In the end I removed the custom components folder which solved my issues.
